We host a youth program throughout the year which includes Centershot sessions. This ministry of the OHUMC is open to children in the 3rd grade and older. It involves trained coaches who work with our youth to teach them the skill of archery along with the Christian goal of "Making Christ the target of our lives" We hold eight week fall and spring sessions. All adult volunteers and coaches are properly vetted with up to date background checks and Safe Sanctuary training. We also play interactive games such as Gaga ball, four square, and basketball. Past youth events have included trips the Historic Fayette Theater, Oakes Family Pumpkin Farm, Winter Jam, and Spring Heights Youth Retreat. Youth meetings are held on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Lewis Christian Community Center on Central Avenue in Oak Hill.
